Acconeer XE125 Evaluation Kit

The Acconeer XE125 is a complete evaluation kit designed for rapid prototyping and development with the XM125 Entry+ radar module. It provides easy access to all module interfaces, supports firmware flashing and debugging, and enables developers to evaluate the performance of Acconeer's low power 60 GHz radar technology in real applications.

The evaluation kit includes the XM125 Entry+ module, which combines the Acconeer A121 60 GHz Pulsed Coherent Radar (PCR) sensor with an STM32L431 Arm Cortex-M4 microcontroller. The radar delivers millimeter-level distance accuracy at ranges up to 20 meters while maintaining very low power consumption. Unlike optical sensors, the 60 GHz radar is unaffected by dust, darkness, ambient light or object color, making it suitable for reliable sensing in demanding environments.

The XE125 exposes the XM125 interfaces through USB-UART, SWD, UART, I²C and GPIO headers, making firmware development, debugging and system integration straightforward. The board supports both USB-powered operation and external power supplies, allowing accurate current consumption measurements during low power optimization. It is also compatible with the optional Acconeer LH132 lens kit for extended evaluation possibilities.

The evaluation kit is intended for engineers developing compact, battery-powered radar solutions for industrial and consumer applications.
